Why I've been MIA....

Well as you have probably noticed, posts have been getting shorter and fewer. Here's why.....I first want to thank everyone who has supported me in my photography business. Those who have encouraged me, and those who have trusted me to capture some very important times in your lives. Unfortunately, due to personal issues going on at this time, I have decided to take a break from photography. If/when I decide to start accepting more shoots I will be sure to let everyone know. This is not something I thought would happen, but right now I need to focus on what’s most important in my life – God and my family. Again, thank you for your support and I hope God blesses you in more ways than you can imagine in 2010!!!(Note: If you have already scheduled a shoot with me for 2010, don’t worry, I still plan on doing those shoots. I hope to go out with a bang!!!)

Ashley and Chuck

On April 12th Chad and I spent the day with Chuck and Ashley. It was beautiful to watch as Chuck and Ashley committed their lives to each other and to God. They are such a sweet couple with a great sense of humor. You could easily see their love for one another and their families was deep and strong.

Chuck and Ashley, may God bless your new lives together!

The day was a little cloudy to begin with but the skies cleared before the couple started to leave.

Looking forward to the day ahead.

Ashley looking for her groom.

Chuck waiting on 3:00 to arrive.

Ashley and Chuck have an adorable nephew named Braylon.

Blowing kisses to Aunt Ashley

Chuck got a little bored while everyone else was out front taking pictures.

Chuck got a little nervous....

I love Chuck's expression in this picture. He's not really sure what to do with all thses women blowing kisses at him.

Ashley was so wrapped up in the moment of just getting married she had no clue what was going on around her. As she and Chuck were walking to the reception hall Chuck got a little tangled in Ashley's veil. Notice how she is keeps smiling at the camera no matter what and leaves Chuck to fend for himself!!!

Finally the get untangled and can walk to the reception hall together.

The food was wonderful at the reception. Everything was presented in a beautiful elegant way.

There were some unexpected visitors at the reception.

As you can see everyone enjoyed the cake!

Ashley was showing off her ring to the guests....

... and then Chuck got jealous so he decided to show his off a little.

I'm not sure what they did but apparently the bride and groom were hiding something at the wedding.

Chuck tries to explain to Ashley that he is innocent.

After that little event the wedding celebration moved on.

Ashley warns Chuck to keep his hands to himself.

I'm got the feeling that none of the guys wanted the garter.

Every bride's gotta have her rainbows handy for after the ceremony!

And it would also be a good idea to keep your keys to the getaway car handy.

Finally they're off!
