Why I've been MIA....

Well as you have probably noticed, posts have been getting shorter and fewer. Here's why.....I first want to thank everyone who has supported me in my photography business. Those who have encouraged me, and those who have trusted me to capture some very important times in your lives. Unfortunately, due to personal issues going on at this time, I have decided to take a break from photography. If/when I decide to start accepting more shoots I will be sure to let everyone know. This is not something I thought would happen, but right now I need to focus on what’s most important in my life – God and my family. Again, thank you for your support and I hope God blesses you in more ways than you can imagine in 2010!!!(Note: If you have already scheduled a shoot with me for 2010, don’t worry, I still plan on doing those shoots. I hope to go out with a bang!!!)

Lockamy/White Wedding

Ashley and Jill were married this past month. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Nazerene Church in Charlotte. I loved the stained glass window front and center. The ceremony was very unique with each of them writing a portion of their own vows.

Again, I love the stained glass window.

Ashley's dad kept me cracking up the entire time!

The girls didn't want the guys to show them up.

But they couldn't hold on quite as long as the guys.

New Software

This past week I purchased some new software for my computer which would help me edit photos more effectively and also gave me some really cool options to edit portraits. I love how some of these came out. The first is the original and the following ones show different effects I can do on pictures. The options are limitless!!
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!

Jill

I had a great time with Jill walking around downtown Monroe. I started out the morning with a session with her and then finished the day with a session with Lauren whom you will see later on (her wedding is not until Sept). I have known Jill for many years and also know several of her family members. It was great catching up with her during her session. She is a beautiful bride!!
