Well as you have probably noticed, posts have been getting shorter and fewer. Here's why.....I first want to thank everyone who has supported me in my photography business. Those who have encouraged me, and those who have trusted me to capture some very important times in your lives. Unfortunately, due to personal issues going on at this time, I have decided to take a break from photography. If/when I decide to start accepting more shoots I will be sure to let everyone know. This is not something I thought would happen, but right now I need to focus on what’s most important in my life – God and my family. Again, thank you for your support and I hope God blesses you in more ways than you can imagine in 2010!!!(Note: If you have already scheduled a shoot with me for 2010, don’t worry, I still plan on doing those shoots. I hope to go out with a bang!!!)
A friend of mine got married a couple of weeks ago and I went to the wedding as a guest not as the photographer. However, I couldn't resist pulling my camera out and snapping some shots at the reception. Here are a few.
The couple's first dance.
The bridesmaids all had on different colored dresses and bouquets that matched their dress. The bouquet in the corner belongs to Melissa's niece. Father-daughter dance. Mother-son dance. Nana Pam sure had some moves that we didn't know about! Cutie Cameron! I loved their cake topper. "Ball and Chain!" Loran, or "Bubba" as Chad calls her, took as many pictures as I did!
There was ALMOST a cake fight! After cutting the cake everyone broke it down on the dance floor!
Chad and I went on our first family vacation since we've been married this past week. We spent the first half of the week at Cherry Grove with my parents, brother, sister-in-law and our beautiful niece. Then we headed down to Ocean Lakes the second half of the week to spend time with Chad's parents, sister and brother-in-law. While we were in Ocean Lakes I did a photo shoot with the Lowder family. Vikki works with a friend of mine and she asked if I would do some pictures of her family while they were at the beach. Their family is full of so much energy! It was so much fun to spend an hour or so with them while we took pictures around the campground and then on the beach. They have two beautiful girls, Peyton and Morgan, and a bubbly young man named Colbey. Here are a few of the pictures of our time together.
We started out taking pictures in a grove of trees on the campground.
Colbey had so much fun climbing in the trees. We almost couldn't get him to come down!
Then we headed out to the beach to take some more pictures.
I am a media coordinator for the school and am currently taking a break from my part time job of photographer. I love and enjoy both of my jobs. In my personal life, I am a wife to a Union County farmer and love our new house out on the farm. We are in the final stages of our first domestic adoption. We can't wait until God introduces us to our little miracle. Contact Information:

No More Studio Sessions For Awhile
I wanted to let everyone know that I will not be able to do any studio sessions for awhile. My old studio location is no longer available for me to use and my new studio is not yet finished. We are currently in the process of finishing my BRAND NEW studio but it may take several more months. Thank you for being patient and please don't let this minor setback keep you from contacting JB Williams Photography. We are still available to shoot on location or in your home!
