Chad and Melissa

A friend of mine got married a couple of weeks ago and I went to the wedding as a guest not as the photographer. However, I couldn't resist pulling my camera out and snapping some shots at the reception. Here are a few.

The bridesmaids all had on different colored dresses and bouquets that matched their dress. The bouquet in the corner belongs to Melissa's niece.

Soakin up the Sun!

Chad and I went on our first family vacation since we've been married this past week. We spent the first half of the week at Cherry Grove with my parents, brother, sister-in-law and our beautiful niece. Then we headed down to Ocean Lakes the second half of the week to spend time with Chad's parents, sister and brother-in-law. While we were in Ocean Lakes I did a photo shoot with the Lowder family. Vikki works with a friend of mine and she asked if I would do some pictures of her family while they were at the beach. Their family is full of so much energy! It was so much fun to spend an hour or so with them while we took pictures around the campground and then on the beach. They have two beautiful girls, Peyton and Morgan, and a bubbly young man named Colbey. Here are a few of the pictures of our time together.

We started out taking pictures in a grove of trees on the campground.

Colbey had so much fun climbing in the trees. We almost couldn't get him to come down!

Then we headed out to the beach to take some more pictures.
